Happy Easter

We've had a great Easter! Last night we went to our grandparents house for dinner along with Uncle Scott, Aunt Vicky, Scottie and Lacey. We enjoyed a great meal that everyone contributed to. Nanny made ham, Aunt Vicky brought baked macaroni and cheese and Mommy made some Oreo cookie/ice cream dessert. After dinner we joked around and told stories till it was time to go.

This morning when we woke up we had to hunt for our Easter baskets. This is a tradition we just started recently that the younger kids especially have fun with.

Then we went to church where there was lots of special music and readings centered around the resurrection. We are so blessed to go to a church where we celebrate Jesus' resurrection all year long.

In the evening service I was able to sing the duet,"I've Just Seen Jesus", with one of my friends. I'll have to post it later on.

Easter Egg Coloring

Friday we had our good friends the Smiths over to decorate Easter eggs. We both have large families so there were a lot of eggs! We had a contest to see who could decorate the prettiest and ugliest eggs.
The Smith's also brought over some chocolate molds so we could make our own chocolate eggs and bunnies.
Then we played a board game which is always a lot of fun. We are very blessed to have such great friends!
