Happy Birthday Grandma Schnarr!

Yesterday Grandma celebrated a birthday. Unfortunately we were unable to be with her but she was in our thoughts.

Grandma is a wonderful sweet lady who always makes you feel loved. She is such a special, caring person and we miss seeing her very much. We are so blessed to have such a godly lady as our grandmother! Happy Birthday!

The Seller's

What a wonderful day we had yesterday! Our old friends the Seller's came in from out of town and we got to spend the whole day with them! The Seller's are planning to go to Nepal as missionaries and are on deputation right now. It was very exciting to see them one more time before they go to Nepal later this year.

The seller's have five kids in their family just like ours so it worked out very good. We all did a lot of fun stuff like tennis, fishing and taking paddle boat rides. We were sad to see them go but we know God is going to use them in a special way in Nepal.

Also for those interested I've added a new song on to "Schnarr Family Music"

Happy 18th. Anniversary!

Today Daddy and Mommy celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary! They are such a good example to all of us kids. I've never seen a more loving, godly relationship between two people. They both do a good job modeling the picture of a husband and wife in the Bible. We are so blessed to have them as parents.

Sothern Gospel Concert

Last night our family went to a Southern Gospel concert, benefiting the Patrick Henry boys and girls home. The music was pretty good and we all had fun. Our local christian radio station was there and during the intermission they had a drawing. Daddy's name was the first to be pulled out and he won two tickets to a Gather Homecoming Concert! He and Mommy are going to use the tickets as a way to celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary (this Monday).

Fun with a Friend

This afternoon I had a great time with one of my good friends Brittany Boyer. She came over for lunch today. We have not been able to spend much time together lately because of conflicting schedules.
It was so nice outside that we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. All the trees and flowers were blooming. It was beautiful! Then we went shopping for a while and just caught up with each other. We had such a good time!

Yard Work

We had some gorgeous weather this weekend! Perfect for doing the yard work that needed to be done like cutting the grass and spreading mulch. Daddy and Tyler did most of the work but Amber, Trent and Trey enjoyed helping out too. They did a great job!
I was able to get some nice pictures of them and the the beautiful flowers and trees that grow near our house in the spring.

Learning about America

This week our family along with a few others met at the Boyer's house to watch some DVDs made by David Barton called "The American Heritage Series". The DVDs are very informative and remind us that our Country really was built on godly principals. It was a great time to fellowship with friends and learn more about our Christian nation.
Yesterday my parents and I went down town to the "Tea Party" with about 1800 other people in Lynchburg to show our opposition to how the government is using our money. There were quite a few good speakers and it was a good learning experience for me.
